It depends what is considered by fees in your world. Because spreads are fees to some extent. The broker takes its profits by spreads or commissions, or by both. But in the mixed type spreads should be very, very low, only then it makes sense. ActivTrades though has the best of both worlds. Yes, it is. Basically all of the additional Activtrades tools are for metatrader platforms only. I guess the broker should make some for its own trading platform exclusively. At least that's what companies usually do in order to promote their product. Or maybe Activtrades is so confident in its custom platform. The broker thinks it doesn't require add-ons to crush the MT platforms, who knows. And it's quite good actually. Well designed and easy to use.
As far as I know this company has positive swaps, and actually it offers them for short positions. For example, look at the major currency pairs, like EUR/USD. Long positions are opened with negative swaps 0.9 pips approximately, whilst short position is opened with a positive one 0.4 pips approximately. ActivTrades provides a detailed table on its website, check out "Swaps" section. There aren't only major currency pairs, but also exotics, metals and minors.
Yes, ActivTrades has such a service. I haven't used it myself, but I was interested some time ago. So I can tell you briefly about it. To take part in the program, you need to make a request. Then you need to show trading in large volumes. And after that, the cashback will be calculated. I guess it is better to get more information from the broker's official website.
