Hi Keith, Its hard for us to suggest sizes for people for a multitude of reasons (no visual reference, measurements taken in different places, unit of measurement, body shape etc.). We have a size chart on the ordering info page, the width is measured from armpit to armpit across the front only and the length is measured from neck seam to bottom hem. We suggest measuring a shirt you already have that fits you well and then comparing it to the chart for the best fit. If you like snug you could go for large I think. I am 42 chest 16 neck 40 waist. I ordered XL and they were fine, roomy.
