I used to use Buyee in the past, but looked for an alternative after a serious order issue and pricy fees. I came across FromJapan a few years ago.

I have been using this proxy since highschool and now I'm a college graduate. Their service keeps improving too! Now they provide instant buying support for Mercari Japan. Your purchase will go through in real time and you don't have to wait for an agent to place it for you!

Their "fees" are wonderfully priced and are usually only 300 yen ( about $2 USD) per order.

Shipping prices are also very nice! I'm in Puerto Rico (USA territory). I usually buy the FedEx Priority 1-3 day shipping. My packages usually range from $19-$40 depending on how heavy it is. I believe these are fair prices for a 1-3 day shipment from Japan.

You could also get even cheaper shipping options if you don't need the items within a day.

I recommend this website and it will always be my "to go" proxy._______

Good service, good fees, a variety of different shipping methods with decent prices. They also package your items well! (I had Buyee send a boxed item in a paper folder and the box was torn badly. They took 0 responsibly even with insurance!)

Perfect service. I was able to import hard to get products from Japan that other websites couldn't help me with. This was the only website that could help me order the item I wanted.

They were fast with buying the items and the shipping was $29 with the fast Fedex option to Puerto Rico.

My usual proxy is FromJapan, but if you have trouble buying something specific, I recommended Rinkya. Good service, timely responses, and good shipping prices.

I've had a wonderful time buying and selling on Mercari! It's been better than using Depop and other services at times.

I used to sell items very quickly on here and I've been able to buy some authentic rare items for cheaper here.

PLEASE make this service available in Puerto Rico. I no longer live in Florida so I can't use the website anymore. It was my favorite selling/buying service.

USPS considers Puerto Rico "domestic" USPS for labels, so it should be possible to use Mercari, but it's not allowed yet… Hopefully in the future…

PROS: It was my first time ordering from them and had a wonderful service! The shipment was to Puerto Rico and arrived SUPER fast.

I bought 2 perfumes on December 5th and it was sent out on December 8th with free USPS Priority shipping since I purchased above $60. I didn't realize the standard free shipping was USPS Priority, but I'm glad.

After that, the package arrived 3 days later. I'm very surprised that the order processed and arrived so quickly during Holiday season.

CONS: The website itself is awful. It's the slowest website I've ever experienced. Even the checkout process was painful. It wouldn't let me input my address!

I was forced to use the PayPal express checkout option so it could fill out the address and payment for me.

I've been purchasing from many online websites and haven't had this issue. This website needs to be updated and fixed badly. The website is very much outdated. I almost gave up on checkout if it wasn't for the PayPal option.

I'm not sure if the traffic and Holiday season has to do with the website getting really slow.
