I like Expedia and have had good experiences except for one time - I don't want to focus on the negative, but I think it is important to know this because we certainly weren't prepared when it happened to us. We had an emergency and had to change our flight. We had even paid extra for the insurance - but they couldn't help us get another flight without paying full price! We were told we would have to get a refund for the first flight separately. When we called the airline that Expedia had booked us with - they couldn't do anything because we were Expedia customers. So we were in limbo, with nobody helping us and ended up having to buy new tickets at full price. After it was all over, we did get about half the price of the original ticket refunded to us.
