I do not believe that the site is even monitored properly. Instead of bringing neighbors and communities together, this website actually creates an open forum that contributes greatly to any existing chaos. I had hoped to obrain useful and reliable information from the local government departments as well as from the community association... but, it has become a forum for selling items and gossiping causing tension among peole. Living in a very violent and vindictive city where harassment and retaliation is real, this may not be the website to bring people together. I am quiet in the community and I am not into foolishness. Nextdoor or someone associated with the website sent letters to residents that included MY NAME (making it appear as though it was from me). This letter directed the receiver to the website and encouraged them to join. THIS WAS DONE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION... Thank goodness for a good neighbor that brought the letter to my attention. I attempted to contact the website and there was no phone number available. Everything had to be done by computer. I guess the reason seems obvious... I unsubscribed and deactivated my account. I also requested that they remove my name as I want absolutely NOTHING to do with this website.
This website is beyond creepy and I recommend thinking twice before joining and definitely doing your research. I cant help but to believe that the creators of this site like drama and "Reality" topics dealing with crime and violence... This website has created issues for me by sending out those letters. That WILL be addressed properly... I would ai dont know many folks in my community. I would add photos of the letter and envelope sent to neighbors but, it would be inappropriate at this time. If I had a neighbor like "Nextdoor", I would put up the highest privacy fence available and treat them like a nutcase.

I originally started watching You Tube because I could filter the information that I received and could enjoy meditation & How To videos without losing my focus due to irritating commercials. Now, during the middle of a meditation video or How To video, an advertisement pops in changing my focus and attempting to force me to accept ideas in which I have no interest. I believe that commercials/advertisements are nothing but subliminal messages. I stopped watching television for this reason... You can pay a fee to avoid seeing the advertisements, which is ethically incorrect, or continue to watch the foolishness. I would have given You Tube a high rating because it can provide a lot of useful information for folks that are interested in learning. As for the negative content, I personally believe that You tube should sensor the content given that children are exposed to and easily influenced by negative videos that do not support a healthy, happy and healthy lifestyle. As healthy adults, we can elect to ignore the negativity but, children are a a "growing crossroad" and need positive guidance in order to become decent and productive citizens. I will not discuss the psychologically challenged folks that do not need the negative exposure to "certain content"...

I rated healthgrades.com. I encourage all to read all reviews regarding this website. My personal review of that website was not very favorable. However I would like to submit a review regarding the website rate mds.com.
Ratemds.com seems to be a trustworthy website that reflects the TRUE opinion of patients and their experiences with certain doctors. Before submitting a survey you must sign an agreement to provide the truth and are held accountable for any false statements. This is a good thing because it deters fraudulent writers from submitting false information out of vindictiveness. Ratemds.com posted my review as written and has not deleted a review that I submitted around the same time that I posted a review on HealthGrades.com. Once again, I encourage EVERYONE to read ALL reviews on THIS website regarding HealthGrades.com. Patient ratings regarding physicians and healthcare facilities is free show in that it may save someone's life. HealthGrades Ma.com does not hold individuals liable for what they write. Therefore, you are more likely to obtain a true reflection of the doctor being rated. I personally give ratemds.com a THUMBS UP. Those with nothing to hide have no problem posting a review on ratemds.com. This is what consumers need because someone could have a life threatening illness and end up selecting terrible physicians to oversee their care.
IN A NUTSHELL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WEBSITE "RATEMDS.COM" TO provide truthful and accurate information.

I completed a two (2) Dr surveys on HealthGrades.com. I wrote about my personal experience with these particular doctors. The reviews were posted for approximately three weeks and then disappeared. I checked the site constantly to see how long my reviews would be posted and how others felt about these doctors. I learned that others felt the same way that I did about the services from one particular Dr. Sadly, I had submitted poor rating prior to those ratings. SUDDENLY, this doctor ended up with excellent ratings... I am now in declining health due to the fact that both of these doctors failed to diagnose my illness and provide the proper treatment. To make matters worse, defaming opinions were written in my healthcare record which further delayed treatment. I had hoped to prevent someone else from going through the same thing.
Blood tests and MRI's clearly diagnosed my illness... As for "Healthgrades.com", I have a lot of questions. As for trusting this website... well I need to have a pepsi at this point.

“I was censored twice by Next Door - once for posting some statistics I found on the web, and then again for protesting the removal of my original post. Not cool. I'll be cutting back on my usage of Next Door.”
