Go to the Better Business Bureau to submit a complaint, and they will refer you to a website where you can file a complaint against businesses from other countries. I figure its got to be better than just writing online reviews. You can find the number for dhgate on their website when you click contact us. The more information we provide with the complaint the better!
I ordered a dress from them on 2/22/14 and after a few weeks I sent the seller a message and asked why it hadn't shipped yet. I never got a response. On 3/13/14 my dress finally shipped, but the tracking number was invalid. It said my order would arrive in 7-12 business days, and when it didn't I sent the seller another message asking for a valid tracking number. When I didn't get a response again I sent a message to customer service. They responded several days later letting me know that my tracking number was indeed invalid and that I should report it. Their message was only sent to my dh account, so I only found out that they had responded when I logged in again to see if there were any changes. By the time that I tried to report the invalid tracking number, it had been more than 45 days since my order shipped so I couldn't. I have since requested a refund, but after reading these reviews, I'm not too hopeful. I will keep fighting though, and I think everyone needs to do what they can to report them and spread the word. Don't let them get away with taking advantage of us!
