VRBO edits out the negative reviews. I rented a nice little place in Pocono Pines Pa only to find out about a huge septic issue upon arrival. The place smelled like raw sewage. Owner not refunding any money and VRBO not allowing my negative review to post, despite following all their guidelines for review. Nasty owner + bad company = stay away.
Do not rely on customer reviews for any Homeaway companies. They remove the negative reviews. I had a horrible experience. The place I rented had a horrible septic problem and smelled like raw sewage. I learned the hard way. Hopefully this will help others from wasting their money the way I wasted mine. Do not trust any properties on Homeaway or VRBO.com
