I do post over there mostly because there aren't any real sites to post not anymore. What's bothersome is the hypocrisy. For instance the moderators are quick to warn, block or ban members if there's any hint of sexist remarks, yet one of their main sponsors is a dating site filled with pictures of half-dressed women.
The other item is how in the last few weeks a Flyers player refuse to wear the Pride Jersey and a week later the Rangers did so as well. This was a sponsored event between these two teams with the lgbtq+ community that did not fulfill expectations. Thus there was controversy.
However at HFboards no one was allowed to start threads or even mention what happened in both situations. Plus the moderators posted warnings on their sites of the consequences of "outsiders" leaving comments.
There are plenty things wrong of what the NHL does, whether it's being involved in politics, racial equality or the lgbtq+ community. The NHL willingly is involved in all three aspects, but it is not an open discussion at HF boards.
Thus the hypocrisy.
