I purchased a vehicle from VA and while it is ridiculous/time consuming to mandate wiring money over, I did almost as soon as I won the auction. It's now been 4 days and the money has been taken from my bank account and transferred to public surplus for at least 2 days, but they have yet to transfer the money to the agency where my vehicle was sold from. It is completely impossible to be in touch with any human beings from public surplus, their online chat is sometimes helpful but usually just advises you to email/contact someone else/enter a never ending loop of failed emails and phone calls. I ended up losing the money I spent on renting a truck/dolly not to mention taking a day off work to be frustrated beyond belief after 38 (literally) calls, and left with rental equipment I won't be using. I can't say anything about the quality of products sold here, but what a horrible, wretched excuse for buyer support.

Tip for consumers:
Save yourself the headache and wait until public surplus takes its sweet sweet time transferring your money to the right place before you make pickup plans.
