I will never buy a General Electric product ever again in my lifetime. Everything was great until less than a month after the warranty running out. Dryer has had a control panel replaced at less than a year old. Washing machine uses whatever temperature of water it chooses (I. E I set it for a warm wash, it fills the tub with freezing cold, just now I put an old blanket in that I always wash in cool water, check the load and it's full of PIPING HOT water.) yes, I have made sure the hoses are connected to the appropriate location and the filter screens are not dirty I also have softened water. The machine cannot balance a load properly half the time. Even if I put a small load in it gets jeans all jumbled up in an uneven disaster and causes the machine to go unbalanced. It tries to rebalance itself by constantly filling and draining itself which is a huge waste of water. I will say that yes, it does get my clothes clean at least.
