** Update. For the past 4 months, I have been getting non stop popups on my PC telling me my subscription is ending in 317 days! My computer has junk files that need to be deleted etc... Yes McAfee customer support has become much more communicative BUT they still can't resolve the problem though I was promised their engineers would fix it next week (3 months ago) so as of today I am uninstalling AL McAfee products from five computers and only relying on defender. No more popups, problem solved.

McAfee's customer service has come a long way from what it used to be. Trust me I come from a customer service background (Director level) and I know great customer service when I see it. A couple of weeks back I had issues with installing on one of my PCs tech support online quickly connected to my PC and solved the issue. I got not one but two callbacks as a follow-up (I know excessive and I told them that). Today I contacted you again due to those annoying popups! I tried chatting but when I typed into the chat bar it wouldn't appear so I disconnected, forgot I had added my number in the form they called me back, connected again to my PC, and shut the popup down. Fixed it? Nah,:0) BUT they were extremely apologetic and stated that an update/fix was coming up in the next week or so so I could shut down notifications myself. I don't know about you but how many times have YOU been disconnected and an agent called you back on the number you know they had? Yep, never! McAfee even though it didn't solve gets five stars from me!

Tip for consumers:
customer service used to be crap, now they are falling head over heels to appease.

Even though they tout such protection mechanisms as "Trade Assurance" it means nothing really as I bought $100 worth of digital products only to find the seller reneging on the offer (service went down after 2 weeks of a 2 year deal) and opening a dispute resulted in Alibaba telling me they couldn't force the seller to provide me with a refund:0). Incredible right? Unfortunately the culture in that region has a lot of catching up to do. In any case, Alibaba.com dead to me.

Tip for consumers:
just avoid

This particular store in Ajax is run by low life's! I was returning an item I had purchased a few days earlier receipt in hand (purchased from the Pickering store) I had been shopping at both stores for the past 15 years and often returned stuff to either store no problem!. When I went to return this one item she tells me Oh you opened the package too bad so sad only store credit? Whaaa?. Then she goes on about being a franchise and privately owned blah blah blah, 2 weeks ago I went to this same store to get a price match, the manager (woman) gave me the same bs we dont price match we are a franchise privately owned... I walked across the plaza to home depot and they price matched I bought 12 of those items. When I chose to buy my online order I had a choice I could buy from Amazon (same price) and get it delivered OR I could give my money to a Canadian business (CTC) but after this experience!. NEVER and I mean NEVER will I EVER buy anything from this frigging store again. They are dead to me! AND if this is the NEW CTC policy at ALL stores no refunds if a package is opened ( how will you know if an item works or not without opening?) then I will NEVER shop at another CTC again in my life! Scum bags! I will go to Princess Auto, Home Depot, Amazon, WalMArt or any other reputable TRSUTWORTHY places I know they have my back if I need to return an item no questions asked!

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT SHOP AT CTC ANYMORE, THEY DO NOT CARE ONE IOTA ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS! Go woke go broke! thought I was being a loyal Canadian but no returns policy has gone TOO far. They are unfriendly to boot. An overhaul TOP down needs to be metered out! Franchisees or not they need to learn customer service skills, go Costco go!

Honest Review? I am in Toronto Canada, I got three lines from Freedom for my kids (my wife and I are with Rogers). I gotta say with full confidence that this is the MOST inept backwards disorganized company on planet earth (think back to the Rogers days when they held the title). In each of my three instances I have to port a number over. Numbers that I bought that cost me $250 each. I have 30 days to port them or I lost them. I gave all the info to Freedom on day one at the store in person. I made him repeat it twice as the info has to match perfectly or the port will get rejected. He had it perfect told me it would take an hour (bull$#*! I know better than that). 4 days later no love, I call (I in put my phone number when prompted and pin when prompted then when I speak to a rep they ask me for what? Yes my number and my pin) already disgruntled but I gotta get this number ported. The rep asks me for the porting info all over again argh! Says 3 more days. 4 days later nothing, my porting co (numbershack) tells me they are trying everything they can to get Freedom to accept but they havent done anything on their end. I call back, (I get hung up on twice) they ask me for all the info again (this is 4 hours now of talking to diff people). I go on vacation I come back still hasnt been ported. By now Im freaking out cause I have a week before I lost that number. I call back ask for a supervisor. I get hung up on after 30 minutes of dilly dallying. I finally get Yassin. 30 more minutes he tells me he is going to personally look into it and will call me back within 2-3 hours. That was yesterday. No call back, no nothing. Dont know what to do. Do I sue for the loss of my number? I already paid for the service in full for a year (on day one of trying to port this number). The other 2 numbers I bought a year ago, same bull$#*!, took 2 weeks and three phone calls but this time it's different, this time the customer service reps are worse than last year if thats possible and I blame upper management for ill trained employees, not having a VR that transfers input into reps' CRM and for being totally ignorant of customers pain and anguish with no due process to escalate. My three numbers expire next year then I am out. Thank God my wife and I stuck with Rogers, at least that service is sable and they are now well trained (wasnt always the case I had words with their then VP Mike Adams as I was in the industry and he promised he would make changes and he did). Other than that Freedom prices are good just pray you dont need support for anything cause that is non existent.

Tip for consumers:
dont count on any support whatsoever, if price is a factor they are cheap but customer service is beyond any nightmare you could ever dream of.

They hide legit reviews of their vendors to keep their advertising revenue up. We recently reviewed a customer of theirs and lo and behold as others have stated below they came up with an excuse to take it down well now its their turn to get the negative reviews in this day and age censorship is a big no no! Guess you will learn the hard way.

Tip for consumers:
look at the reviews and shop elsewhere
