Booked a room with Stratosphere Hotel about a month prior to New Years. The room booked is Premiere with View of Strip. Weeks prior to arrival, contacted hotel to confirm request for view of strip. At check in, asked clerk to confirm view of strip. Got to the room, view was crappy and had no views of strip. Contacted front desk from room, guest service said a manager will call back. Called the front desk again after 20 minutes, transferred to front desk manager. Manager says there are no rooms available with view of strip. Escalated to Hotel General Managet. The Hotel Mamager apologized, and said the mistake was with their other travel partners for booking a room type that was no longer available. He offered two tickets to the New Year's event to the top of the Stratosphere viewing point. We declined, as this was not what we requested. We moved to another hotel after two days for a 5 days pre-paid hotel room. I can't describe it any better than a bait and switch experience. We will never stay here again.
