I certainly did not like the idea of auto renewal. I only wanted to use the service once so that I can take a printout of my resume but having to pay almost $40 for the entire month does not seem right to me. I expected a better price structure.

Anna B. [LiveCareer Rep] Greetings resumejohn g, We are very sorry that you have had this experience with the service. We provide the information and explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. The auto renewal is provided with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, its also stated as well on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.
Cancellation of the account is going to prevent the account to enter the monthly subscription. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records as reference. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.
