"Covid customer service" is not uncommon these days. Unhelpful, short tempered, inefficient, and often overworked; customer service representatives acting on behalf their employer's policies and guidelines. Appliance manufacture, Maytag, has gone a step further by ostentatiously causing undue hardships on many other working class families (BBB 2,133 complaints in the last year). Please read my experience and understand the despair this has caused my family. Maytag's scheme with only one repair company in a metropolitan like Atlanta is lawful; however, it is completely unethical and minimizes the rights of the American consumer. It is my hope that lawmakers understand that Maytag exploits a crack in Lemon Law causing consumers to be repeatedly victimized and Maytag manufacture remain unaccountable.
