This is the return policy of the Mason Ohio location.

Dick's Retail Rep: "If you don't want to wait in line to make a return (there were 100 people deep), you can just leave the item here."

The customer (me): "But I need a reverse of charge on my credit card, how will you do this?"

Dick's Retail Rep: "This is the best we can do."

The customer (me): "Huh?"

<So, I came home and called the Customer Service number listed on their website.>

Phone Rep: "I don't know who you should speak with, and I can't find a name or number for you. I'll connect you with a supervisor in Customer Service."

The customer (me): "Do you have a number to the home office in Pittsburgh?"

Phone rep: "I work in Utah; I don't know. I'll connect you to a supervisor here."

10 minutes later and still on hold, I hung up.

Now I know why the store service is so bad. This is their customer philosophy. Good to know. You won't see me again.

I already complained once about the service of cafepress, and no one took it to heart. About a week ago I tried to buy items on line. It was IMPOSSIBLE to buy on line. When asked my opinion of my recent experience, I sent a reply to them and their survey service about this experience. The following is what I wrote and the reply I received. At it's best, it was amusing; at it's worst, a tragic indictment of this company and the personnel they employ. Please read on...

I told them it was impossible to shop on line with their website and this needed to be fixed. This is the actual response sent to me by cafepress...

We do see the order was placed, so maybe not so impossible. But we are terribly sorry to hear this.

To the idiot who wrote this... the order was placed by phone AFTER 40 minutes of not being able to purchase on line. It was IMPOSSIBLE to do this on line. Further, with this reply, I am now putting a hold on the credit card for these items as I intend to return them and discontinue all business with this subpar company.
