I took my dog to Petco before today for grooming. The Grooming experience was so bad that I received a full refund and was assured by the grooming manager (Kim) that she would personally groom Emma the next time. I made an appointment for Emma to be groomed today with the grooming manager at Petco in Myrtle Beach. Since Kim had assured me that she would personally groom Emma, I put full confidence in her grooming abilities. Kim was shown a picture of what Emma was to be cut like. Emma is a Peek A Tese which should never be cut short. Kim was specifically told today not to cut Emma short and Do Not cut her ears short. When my daughter picked up Emma this afternoon, she was treated very rudely by Petco employees. If I had been the one to pick Emma up, I would have refused to pay for her cut again today. Emma is cut short and chopped up so bad except her hair on top of her head is parted in the middle. SMH. Her ears are cut short after specifically telling Kim to not cut Emma's ears short. Emma's back paw doesn't match the other three. I've never been so disappointed in a grooming job. It was even worse the second go around than it was the first time I took her there. At my last visit to Petco in Myrtle Beach,when looking in the window all the long haired dogs had the exact same cut. It's like the groomers are taught to cut one specific way even though you asked for something specific and show them pictures. That does not do any good. I also was charged $10 more for this grooming.
