I spent $20 for an image from Alamy. Upon downloading the "high resolution" image from their site it looked terrible! The colors were all washed out and blotted. The subjects face was not even recognizable. I reached out to try to get a refund or another image that was truly high quality and from there the representatives were kind enough but unwillingly to make good on their part of the deal saying that there was no refunds given. I shared their terms and conditions with them where it specifically says that defective images will be reimbursed and they only encourage me to load the bad image up in a photo editor as if a photo editor can fix a bad image. $20 down but lesson learned.
