If your training to be an Olympic boxer or wrestler, or simply looking for a good street fight, NYC is the place to be. I so much loved growing up in this place but covid and changing demographics have really altered the vibe in this City. In the streets you feel daily confrontation from some group aggressively protesting against something. On the sidewalks, you can't walk a block without some unfortunate homeless person or new illegal immigrant getting in your face for money, a cigarette or a sandwich. And of course, those subways, like an MMA cage match, where you can't get away from pick-pockets, the mentally disabled and racists of every color looking for an excuse to attack you. There's a high value to serenity, a peaceful existence and a feeling of safety. NYC however, is not the place to find any of these things.
