How Quibids is scamming me.

I won three auctions in my history with Quibids. The last was a 25$ Amazon gift card on 7/30/2010. It is now August 1st, that was two months ago. They still have not delivered the product.

My communication with support has involved me contacting them with regards to the missing product. (No one ever contacted me with a problem.) They said that they had to cancel a batch of cards and I would receive a new one in a week. That was a month and a half ago.

I waited two weeks and again contacted customer support who "forwarded the issue to a shipping rep" and said I would receive a card within the day.

Again I waited a week before contacting support. The following conversation then occured:

11:06 AM Laura: ok, we are still waiting on Amazons cooperation in resolving the issue with cards that had invalid codes. Our Amazon representative is contacting them again today. Please understand that the situation is out of our control and we have to wait on Amazon to take care of the issue. But we are doing everything we can to speed up the process. It is frustrating for us, but i know it is more frustrating for you
11:06 AM Laura: we will let you know as soon as we have a resolution from Amazon
11:06 AM Laura: we are sincerely sorry. Is there anything else i can do for you today?
11:07 AM Nathaniel Mahieu: Yes, I would like a replacement code.
11:07 AM Laura: we don't have a replacement code. We are waiting on Amazon to take care of that
11:08 AM Laura: at this point there isn't anything that i can do
11:08 AM Nathaniel Mahieu: Your company is currently operating selling Amazon gift cards every day. If there was a problem with Amazon this would not occur. Nothing is stopping you from issuing me a replacement code until you resolve whatever dispute you have.

This went on for about 20 minutes with no resolution. I still have not received a card. As such there are a few things I want to note to anyone who is researching.

1. This purchase would put me positive, getting more money out than I put in.
2. No representative contacted me to explain that there was a problem with my item.
3. In the terms on Quibids website there is no time line for receiving your item. Because of this they are able to continue making excuses indefinitely, never delivering their items.
4. If this truly was an issue with Amazon they would not be currently selling cards or they could easily issue a replacement card and settle whatever "dispute" exists on their own time. There is no reason that this liability should fall on the user, the company made a promise of goods and will not deliver. This behavior is highly unprofessional and dishonest.

Be warned. Don't expect to be dealing with honest people.
