Information For Practice is the web log of Gary Holden, a social work librarian at New York University. What a complete and current treasure trove it is for social workers! The front page of the site lists the latest significant journal article publications, social work news, and even "grey literature," new social work information that is to be found outside of the mainstream information locations. The Social Work Librarian at one of the top library schools in the nation turned me on to this site, and I've been very grateful. It's a great site for social workers to glance at every morning, so they can stay abreast of developments. It's also beautifully laid out.

http://masslawyersweekly.com/ is the Web site of the legal newspaper Massachusetts Lawyers' Weekly. This newspaper is known to lawyers as an "advance sheet," because it contains advance reports of judicial decisions in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Federal Jurisdiction. The site has excellent and reliable reporting of decisions, good journalistic reporting, and quite a few bonus reference services, such as the ability to look up Massachusetts lawyers' contact information, or to look up Massachusetts statutes. This is the site to turn to for Massachusetts legal news. The layout of the site is a little clunky, and the site tends to go gaga over big firms, which is why I awarded it three stars out of four--there's more to the legal landscape than big Boston firms. But overall, an excellent resource.
