I've been an Ideel(i) customer for sometime, and I've always enjoyed the shopping experience, but that has changed with my last order:
I used a promotion which claims "Additional 30% discount on 2+ items" just to have a mess of an order with no proper discounts and a horribly snappy customer service rep named Aswini. Poor person might have tried to explain, but either by their own ignorance or just simply confusing Ideeli practices wasted an hour and a half of my time, confused the heck out of me, and did the big no-no for customer reps of using "snapchat-allowed" punctuation in a client service chat. I have even saved the session for the fun of it. The problem with this company is two-fold:
1. Their discount claims are deceptive, bordering fraudulent. A claim for 2+ items discount of 30% can only be understood by a mortal like me as a discount on all items in the 2+. Any attempt to follow the discount explanation on an Ideeli site is futile, and makes you chase your tail on a number of irrelevant pages. But let's assume the mortal in me did misunderstand the offer. The discount was applied on two items, but conveniently, it was applied on item that is out of stock, event though I ordered 3 items, two of which were in stock. Convenient random selection, according to the rep. To make things worse, the 2nd available item that did not get lucky with the discount got "misplaced" during shipping. So technically I am screwed up on on every side of this case (even if I ask to get the discount applied to the 2nd available item, I can't, cause it is missing in the Ideeli ether) - checkmate! At the end, I am left waiting to oblivion to get my out-of-stock discounted item.
2. Customer service is completely confused and unknowledgeable, and when faced with their own contradicting statements, just snaps back at you. Writing to you friends in a chat is very different from chatting with customers you get paid to provide service to. Again, let's assume I can overlook the fact that I am talking to someone that might not be happy with their job for whatever reason, wasting my time with confused answers is not the way to go.

And just to add one more "fun" details about this company, their shipping department is a total disaster. This is the second time in an year that an item I order "disappears" during shipping and nobody knows what happened. Yes, I get refunded, but probably they need to look at the astrophysical anomalies they operate in and address the black holes that shipments end into.
