Clearly I did not receive what I paid for, which was the reason for the return. I purchased a loose diamond, ordered a VS1, but received a diamond with a very large, visible to the eye, tornado cloud in the pavilion of the diamond, which, according to their own standards, is not indicative of a VS1. When I requested the refund, I explained this to the customer service manager who agreed with me, and in fact, admitted they "may have sent me the wrong diamond! That said, I would have expected a full refund, especially since the return was due to a quality issue on the part of PrimeStyle, however, they charged a credit processing fee of 4% and refused to refund that portion. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, DO NOT purchase a diamond without a certificate from a reputable diamond grading company, such a GIA or AGS. It will cost a little more and it will be well worth it! We ended up with a gorgeous diamond from Whiteflash.com.
