I booked a multi city trip for just under $3000. I've used Cheapo for 10 years and have got most of my yachting crews to use them too... This is the first time anything's gone wrong... but it's everything.
My card didn't go through for the online booking... So, I received a call from an agent in the USA. We completed the booking on the phone. However, I was in a car in Bali while talking to the agent and he changed the original outbound flight. No problem I approved. My flight was originally 9.30pm and I told the agent I needed to get my late friend's husband safely to the airport before I left. His flight was 10pm... so no flights before that on 20th... the agent told me he'd found a flight that was later in the evening and gave me more time. I was delighted. So we changed the flight from 9.30pm to 1am... great. And, he said the ticket was $400 cheaper too. Fantastic. Except that the ticket was for 1am the morning before. I checked in having missed my flight and have now had to pay for another ticket $1000 AND Cheapoair are telling me I need to pay fare differences and re booking fees for all my other flights. And, can I find a supervisor to talk to? No.
