After waiting past the 7-10 days for my order, I chatted with a customer service rep. She said my order was on hold because they didn't have my PD which I sent twice with the original order. She then came back and said that the order was completed on July 14th (chat attached) but didn't know why they had not shipped. I then received an email from the customer service person saying that they didn't have my PD. I sent it twice more but still don't have my glasses.
Update - Received my glasses but there is more...
After receiving my glasses they seemed a bit off, blurry in sections. The prescription was the same one I usually wear but I figured I should wear them for a while and see if my eyes will adjust. After 3 weeks I notified SmartBuyGlasses customer support and they said to explain the problem so I said there are areas that are blurry. They said I should wear them for a couple of weeks and I stated that I have been wearing them for 3 weeks and the problem is still there. They then told me that if I cannot describe the problem more specifically to the optometrist that they would not be able to refund them and I would have to send them back on the 100-day return policy (where you pay for shipping) which I argued several times. They then gave me a return number that would expire in 7 days so I had to ship them express that same day to get them there on time which cost me almost $40. After 2 weeks and several more emails, they finally gave me a refund for $35 less than what I paid. Now costing me $75 and still no glasses.
I finally went to Len Crafters and paid the premium price which was $200 more than SmartBuyGlasses plus the $75 for my bad mistake of buying from SmartBuyGlasses. The new ones are absolutely perfect and actually look different than the same Tom Ford models I received from SmartBuyGlasses.
BTW - the response from them saying they will help but I didn't provide order details is also wrong. I uploaded my full order on this site and they called me.
