I admit I goofed and bought the tickets to the wrong theatre on the way to another theatre but when I called to get a refund their policy is only 2 hours prior to the showing can you receive a refund or Fandango credit.
Fandango should be able to see if the tickets were picked up or not. Needless to say I ended up donating $53 to the Fandango app. Once I hung up the phone with their customer service rep I immediatly deleted the app and downloaded the Cinemark app.
Terrible policy. Use your nearest theatre app instead. At least they can solve this similar issue face to face.
