Although I had eight good years of using Square this past month, a Friday, and a Saturday of retail sales in December before Christmas, most of my debits disappeared. Between 1 o'clock and 5 o'clock on a Friday and on a Saturday in December all my transactions went through the processing system perfectly and never came to my account nor appeared on my dashboard after over 20 hours of trying to get a hold of a supervisor I would only be coming connected to lower level people that would either hang up or transfer my call and they would hang up and I could never get a solution. I lost over $350 in sales. The people on the helpdesk told me I had to take peoples phone numbers and credit card numbers so that they could get back to them and be sure their bank took out the money before they could ever help me. Use another credit card system processor if you want your money.

Tip for consumers:
If they did not have such an irritating customer service support system in place it may be a good system. Something technical happened and I could not get anybody to connect me with anybody that could help. I think that either somebody was crooked and they take money once in a while from a business or there were some technical error that nobody would even bother trying to clear up.
