I ignored A Place for Mom initially because I was not looking for a place for my mom. I was not looking for assisted living or a nursing home. I was looking for an independent living apartment for my husband. Nicole contacted me after I had put out some feelers online. When I found out she could help me, I relied on her during the entire search process. She assessed my particular needs and requirements and arranged for visits to various locations. Thanks to her help, I was able to find an apartment which met our needs. We found a place that took into consideration our particular needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all mentality.

I shop at Amazon.com because it has such a variety of choices of products. However, that same variety means that they deal with a large number of venders, and follow-up on damaged or missing packages is almost non-existent. Sometimes the person responsible for delivery puts the package in the mailbox (which is against the law). That means I have to get to the mailbox before the postman does. If the postman sees the package in the mailbox before I do, the package is confiscated and I have to pay postage on it - again! I have tried several ways of trying to contact Amazon.com about this problem and have been ignored. The one time they did respond, they told me the company supplying the product had gone out of business and they could not do anything to help me.

I have spent so much time and money looking for a product to cover my rosacea and this is the best product by far. Most concealers will cover for 15 minutes, but do not last all day. This lasted all day. At the same time, it does not have a caked appearance. It did take me practice to apply the concealer. I normally use a sponge to apply makeup, and this did not work well with the concealer. (Fingers worked better.) The eyebrow pencil was a little too dark for my fair skin and blonde hair, but the pencil did come with a brush that helped lighten it a bit..

I ordered the "Delphine Corbin-Oriental Collage IV," and couldn't be happier. The framing and the matting was perfect for the print. The picture is beautiful. I would have bought the entire set if I had room on my walls. The colors are exactly as presented on the website. The picture was sent well packaged and was received in good condition.

I have bought several items from Wayfair and have been happy with my purchases. They have some great sales.

Most of my shopping at BBB has been in their stores, but the few times I have shopped on-line have been very satisfactory. The on-line store has a greater inventory, and I have found items on-line that I could not find in a store.

I have bought only 1 item on-line from L. L. Bean, but the product (shoes) came well packaged and in a timely manner. Shoes were in good condition.

I shop a lot on-line on Pier1. Great choices and good values. Most of my purchases have been on sale, and I love it. I pick up most items at the store and save on shipping. When I had to return 2 items due to color problems (Color was not exactly as it appeared on the computer screen), it was done very easily with no hassles. Great service.

I bought a decorative jar from Lamps Plus and it was shipped with absolutely no protective packing. Needless to say, it was received in a hundred pieces. I have bought several items from Lamps Plus, and the packing has always been more than adequate - except for this time. I called customer service and they were very helpful, and I received a replacement without any hassle. I was very pleased with the product and the customer service I received The only complaint is that they should have packed it right the first tie.

I have bought many items from Joss and Main and have always been pleased. I just recently purchased a Jenner Tray- Champagne from J&M, and it is even more beautiful than it looked on-line. It is well made and the price was very reasonable.

I recently purchased a 16-piece dinnerware set from Home Decorators Collection, and I am quite pleased with my purchase. The set came well-packed with no breakage and was delivered in a timely manner. The colors and the patterns were exactly what was pictured on-line. The cups were just the right size and feel good in my hand. Everything was just what I wanted!
