After hearing of MiKinlay's story from Wired, I thought it would be fun to do some reading about the method he used in finding his perfect match. This short paper does a great job of summarizing the analysis he did and how he used that data to build a dating profile that appealed to the women he wanted to meet.
Less pressure than eharmony... the guys seem more natural and relaxed and I don't feel so much pressure. I like the feature of looking for friends. It makes getting to know the people easier. So far I haven't been on any bad dates from this site. The. Crowd at match was just strange. Eharmony crowd was too up tight.
If you read the first paragraph of the intro of this book, that was exactly my profile sadly: I am/like/look everything generic. Needless to say I was getting "passed" a lot.
I'm really happy I found this book because he suggests ways to write a CMB profile that I've literally never seen anyone else use, and I've been able to help my friends with their profiles now too.
