I was a happy customer of 20+ years.
Suddenly, I could not sign into my account unless I gave them my phone number.
I would not. I stopped using them for several years.
A few months ago, I actually signed in without giving my number.
I happily started up my account again.
Today, I had to change my CC# on PP. But once again, with no warning, I could no longer access my account without giving them my phone number.
I called. On hold for 20 minutes. Finally a very slow person came on. Could not understand
Anything. I asked to be directed to someone else. She obliged. After 25 minutes of nothing, I hung up.
Paypal used to be outstanding.
They seem no longer to be for the customer.

Beware. Beware. Beware.
Do not buy large appliances here.
If you have a problem after they install it, tough luck.
We asked the salesman for a Bosch dishwasher comparable to the old one we
Bought from them.
After they installed it, we realized it was junk. Klunky and plastic.
Nothing like the old model.
We called to upgrade to a better model.
The salesman stalled and stalled for weeks.
The store manager told us tough luck.
There is no simple way to exchange. We have to bring the
Dishwasher back ourselves.
Plus no refunds. Only store credit.
For this reason, I no longer want to buy the upgrade
From this store. But they will not issue a refund.

A couple of months ago, Blick seemed to start screwing up more.
They've always shipped far slower than other on-line art dealers.
But suddenly I was getting things like leaky paint tubes, or instead
Of getting the small pastels I'd ordered, I got giant pastel sticks -
Difficult to use for small detail work. It seemed like Blick was pulling a
"bait and switch." I figured maybe it was just an innocent error.
Also, customer service became most unhelpful.
What clinched my dropping Blick: Their website promised free shipping
If you filled in the promo code.
I filled it in. A note popped up stating that my item would ship free.
But after I paid, I noticed that I was CHARGED FOR SHIPPING!
I immediately called customer service. (more time waste) They did some
Work, then said they made sure the item would ship free.
But they never sent me an email verification, so I could not believe them.
I had to call YET AGAIN.
Finally, the next customer service rep sent an email stating that the shipping
Charge would be refunded.
Ordering from Blick has become frustrating and time-consuming.
I don't feel like I can trust this company anymore.

I frequently give their wool and cashmere items as gifts.
Recipients are absolutely wild about them.
I will also add that when I do need to make a return, there is
Never a problem.
This winter, I was ripped off on returns by several on-line businesses.
It makes me appreciate Garnet Hill even more.

I am addicted to their simple 100% cotton items.
They're reasonably priced, and the quality is usually excellent.
Old Navy ships relatively fast, and have always had decent customer service.
This year, it's a bit difficult to get through to customer service, but
I will cut them slack because we are in strange times.

I returned an item.
My total purchase fee: $42.98.
They refunded only $23.00!
I asked why they kept almost half.
Only after I filed a grievance thru Paypal did they finally
Say the rest was for "shipping and return shipping costs".
