It took me 2 1/2 months, and over a dozen e-mails, trying to obtain a refund for an order that was never delivered. Finally, after filing a dispute with PayPal, I was able to get my money back, but through it all SammyDress just couldn't see why I would expect my money back for an order they failed to deliver, choosing to place blame on the warehouse or the shipping company THEY chose to use, as if I would ever be able to recover my money from either of them. My advice to any potential customers are to read the reviews, and know that the 5 star reviews are suspect, probably written by the company in an effort to offset the thousands of 1 star reviews. Who takes the time to write a review for a company when an order you paid for shows up. That's what is supposed to happen. The prices on this company's website are appealing, but that's not the price of the clothes you see pictured, that's the price for knock-offs of those items, made with cheap fabric and shoddy workmanship. If I can keep one person from ordering from this website, with this review, I will feel pretty good about that. SammyDress is only one of about 15 companies owned by the same corporation, and they all do business in the same way. They all offer merchandise at really low prices, but ship out (or not) crap that customers end up stuck with because of the cost of returning the stuff to china, for a refund or exchange that may or may not happen. If you are thinking about doing business with any chinese website, take a minute to check their reviews. Three of the companies to AVOID are Sammydress, GearBest, and TwinkleDeals, although there are a dozen more out there you want no part of. Just realize that no legitimate company can sell a 400 dollar cellphone for 69.95 or a 60 dollar blouse for 4. 95. 1/2 of this corporations income comes from unsent packages, and defective merchandise that is sent out with no warranty, and is just written off by disappointed customers because of the hassles involved in getting an exchange/refund for missing or defective goods. They are totally unconcerned about earning repeat customers, and have chosen to follow a "take the money and run" atittude, that shows in their customer service's claiming to want to help their customers, when actually most of their efforts revolve around denying responsibility, and making empty promises of refunds or adjustments, until customers get fed up and just walk away. Be wary of fantastic deals and check the reviews! UPDATE! Thank you for your computer generated response to my review, offering to help me resolve my problem, which you have absolutely no intention of doing, and only sent me to create the illusion of concern about your customers. Your repeated attempts to get me to change my review, in an effort to lure more unsuspecting victims to shop your website, and be ripped off like you tried to do to me. I wrote that review based upon your scandalous business practices, in an effort to save others from having to go through what I did, and according to SiteJabber 14 people have read my review and NOT made the mistake of ordering from you. I only wish it was 14 Thousand! P.S. I was able to obtain my refund from PAYPAL after you gave me a run around for 4 months, so I consider this matter closed. I don't need any more offers to resolve my problem, that you had absolutely no interest in resolving before I wrote this review. This review will stay up, in a continuing effort to keep others from wasting there money on your site.
