My wife and I booked an international flight months ago. Either the airline or Justfly decided to cancel one leg of the journey and there were no alternate options listed on the site. It literally took 2 hours to reach a live person on the phone who could help. Partway through, you will reach a level 1 person who will take your information and simply confirm that you are still there and are still alive. It's annoying as this information does not get passed through to the next person, so you have to repeat all the details again. It seems like the phone connection quality and English-speaking capability of people in the call center is questionable, so you might have to call again if you can't get through the level 1 person. Anyhow, after many calls and many wasted hours, we moved the first leg of the journey from about 9:30am to 6:30am. I told them that I live in a part of the US with tough winters and that having an early flight was a bad idea as the roads to the airport would be bad and flight delays would be likely. They would not allow me to even pick a day earlier or later to avoid this 6:30am flight. Sure enough, the roads in the northern US at the beginning of March 2018 were horrible. We were driving before the snowplows were out. The flight was delayed significantly because of some "APU failure" and the plane ran on a backup system. Fortunately, the delayed flight didn't matter too much as I had a lengthy layover in Chicago due to the alternate flight plans we were forced to take. We definitely established seat choices for the entire trip to and from our destination, but while our tickets were in airline ticket purgatory, our seats for one of the lengthy flights were apparently given to someone else before we re-established our seats. So, my new wife and I were to be seated in row 26 and 33 respectfully. What a nice way to start our lives together. Fortunately, on the plane, some generous passengers allowed us to do some swaps.
Maybe our experience was unusual or maybe it was usual, but what I would recommend, is try to call for support and see how long it takes and how helpful the people are PRIOR to purchasing tickets through this company. You will want to know how long it takes to get service in case you are stuck in an airport somewhere and need help. If you are stranded in an airport far from home, do you want to literally wait 2 hours to speak to someone who can help? Hopefully, the company improves their service - particularly the wait times.
