I was looking at the UBER app and was talking via live chat with one of their customer service reps, named "Steve." I asked why there were so many bad reviews and he says its because they don't offer support for their $1 script. (I had bought the $1 Uber website script and hired a freelance programmer to get it up and running for me. It mostly works.) Then I told him I want what the Uber app says it does but am afraid to buy from his company. He starts using "..." in every response with me as I ask about customization and costs associated with altering the app to fit my business.

Finally I asked if we could contract the job over Elance.com so I could have some control over payment and a chance to stop payment if they were scamming me.

"The chat has ended" was his response to my question. I guess he stopped trying to bait me. I was legitimately asking about buying his product despite all the bad reviews; now there's no way.
