Amazon offered me a $60 discount on a $120 purchase if I opened an Amazon Business account. After providing all kinds of private info (phone, SSN, government documentation that the company exists) it refused to open the account saying that it was related to another Amazon business account which is not true, and refused to discuss the matter further or reverse this decision. Yes it's Amazon, not some fake site trying to get private info.

Went to pay for some items.
Incompetent cashier mistakenly scanned an item twice and didn't know how to take it off.
Had not been trained; I was his first customer!
A few days later I went to buy two items. Had to deal with the same cashier, no one else available. One item scanned at 17% more than the price displayed. He couldn't correct this, so I had to pay the wrong price then go to Customer Service to get a price adjustment.
I'm the untrained, incompetent cashier -- because only self-checkout was available; not one register with a Target employee working at the register.
I'm not a cashier, haven't been trained and shouldn't be working for free.
Target should have employees at the register, so self-checkout is a choice, not an obligation.
(Just as I was leaving the store, one cashier did come on duty.)

Tip for consumers:
If anyone at Target bothers to read this, I hope you know that shoplifting from customers failing to scan items at self-checkout is a big problem; probably more than it costs to hire cashiers.

Went to the website to register a card to use it for internet purchases.
Kept getting a "403 Forbidden" message.
Did some research, which explained that this can happen when using a VPN.
So I disabled my VPN and was able to register the card.
It stinks that I'm required by this company to send personal data over wifi without the safety of a VPN in order to register the card.
VISA distribured and serviced by Blackhawk network, issued by Metabank.

As a first time fiction writer, I naively paid several hundred dollars for a book review. What I got was a vacuous, snarky book report that was grammatically correct, but not much else. If this had been turned in by an eighth grade student, my comment would have been "See me after class" and my first question would have been, "You didn't read the book, did you?" and regardless of the answer, I would have given the student an F.
This is the kind of report a lazy student could write after reading the blurb on the back cover, plus the first, last, and a few middle pages.
There was no discussion of theme, writing style, use of symbolism, character development (not a single character was mentioned by name,) conflict, or plot turning points.
Unlike others, I did not give up when the company refused to either re-do the review or refund my payment. I disputed the charge with my credit card company, and after much correspondence by certified mail, including a copy of the so-called review and a point by point rebuttal of major inaccuracies in the plot summary, got a full refund.
I could have saved myself a ton of aggravation if I had researched this company before making this purchase.

None. Requested that the company either re-do the review or give me a refund. Although I was willing to give the company a second chance, it refused to do so.

Verified purchase

I don't buy often from ebay or have an account with it, I checked out as a guest.
Clicked "buy it now," (I wasn't bidding on it) paid for it, got a confirmation.
Then I get a message from ebay telling me my order was canceled.
Shortly after got a nasty message from ebay telling me that I was banned from ebay.
A couple of weeks later I received the item, which was fine, as was the seller's packaging.
So in spite of both buyer and seller being satisfied (I paid for the item and it was fine) ebay bans me so I can't buy anything else.
Awful way to stay in business.

Tip for consumers:
got canceled for no reason

Awful! Bought this to make online purchase. Couldn't activate. Kept getting message that "A system error has occurred. Please try again later." Called number, entered card number and told activated. Waited and waited for a live person to register my name/address so I could use it for online purchase. Got tired of waiting. Gave up. Used up card at supermaket, in person. Wasted the $5.95 fee. Got a card from another company, which worked great. Never again will I buy a Vanilla card.

Tip for consumers:
awful experience, would give zero stars if I could

car from another company worked great
