BEWARE! I just reviewed my bank statement and realized that LiveCareer had charged me almost $40.00. I didn't realize that that was going to be automatically charged and I am very very upset. I had no intention of having an on going membership and was just interested in the trial. I am unemployed at the moment (stay at home mom) and am ready to get back into the work force and can not afford the $40.00 charge, this charge overdrew my account and now I am really screwed. I feel like it was a very sneaky trick that they pulled. Also I didn't even realize it had been 2 weeks since I sign up. Also $40 is not worth the service provided even if I wanted the membership (which I don't) I am very disappointed and now out of money that I couldn't afford. I feel scammed, I would not recommend this site even for the trial. BEWARE

I’m very sorry that you have had this experience with our service. All of our subscriptions are auto-renewing if not cancelled. We state this on every page in the purchase process and we send payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings if service is no longer needed. A monthly subscription makes it easy for our customers to customize the resume and cover letter for each position for which they are applying, and also to avoid interruption on the service

Our record shows that you self-cancelled your subscription 2 days late that is why you’ve been billed. As courtesy, I refunded the $39.80. You'll see it on your bank statement within 2-3 business days. I have also sent you a confirmation email for your records.
