I went to their site to send ecard for a birthday for tomorrow. I chose the $6.99 option for one month trial. Their system defaulted to one year membership fee, after they had my credit card info for automatic renewals and no place on their site to edit this membership. And, their site also says "no card pending to be sent", even though I'd chosen one. Then, I did a search and find numerous complaints on 4 complaint sites of this happening to others. So, within the hour, I called my credit card company to block my account and reverse the charge which was already pending, and to get new card. I'll have to take time to follow up on this, after it has posted, as well as warn my card recipient of any solicitations, because they also have her info. What a hassle. Beware.

Web.com shut down my website after being with them for 9 yrs. No warning. After numerous 1-2 hour calls, I discover that they could not charge my credit card that they have had on file, for years. It was due to a new expiration date on a replacement card for the same credit card acct. They now have updated info charge my card, again but I have to rebuild my website (that took me over a week to create in 2013), from scratch, again. I spent hours, days over the last 7 months, attempting to get back in to rebuild. Web.com could not recognize my acct number nor web name and when I continually tried to reset my password to get in, it would not even recognize my email, even though they had been sending mail to it, for all those years. Spent hours with customer service, on many days over the last 7 months, with numerous reps, two of which hung up on me, today. Exhausted with this, I asked for a refund of my $223.60 because I have paid for a service & cannot even get into my paid acct. They refused to refund me because it is over 30 days. I did not know that I would get the run around for 7 months, just trying to rebuild my website that they deleted due to their own negligence. They stole my funds. Now, I am taking other action to get my money back. Poor customer service/support staff is the cause of this nightmare. Don't risk your funds or valuable time with this company. There appear to be numerous complaints like mine. Class action suit? Attorney General?

It is 2 wks later, and they still have not addressed this via Trust Pilot where they asked for additional info, to resolve this. I furnished the additional info, immediately but they have yet to resolve this. I was even given a case # for "escalation# to refund me on 7/4/22. That appears to be a sham action, also. They don't care about their long time customers.

Tip for consumers:
They give only 30 days to refund your money, although you will experience problems well past the deadline and therefore, you will lose your money, in the end.

Any positive reviews of BPM are probably fake and written by BPM staff. If anyone really did have a successful match on BPM, then why would they come to the complaints site to say that they had success unless they are paid, somehow? Anyone who has had a happy match would not be here. They would be too preoccupied with focusing on their new, so-called "match made in heaven".

Use a prepaid card with limited funds on it, to prevent them from continuing renewals. I have been on this site for 3 years. Let it lapse for 6 months. Decided to try it again, this time, for only one month because I saw someone that I knew who had decent credentials. The site wiped out the profile that I had spent a considerable amount of time, creating over a year ago, only because they said that I had violated rules by my writing that I am able to read & respond to messages, again, because I have renewed. How is that a violation? Yet, there are sleaze bags on the site that they do not censor. Not going to bother to put together as extensive a profile that I had, before, because if they delete it, no big waste of my time. And, I always use a prepaid card and never my credit card or debit card, and I make sure I spend any excess on the card before they can take it. Nothing but losers and men with low self esteem on this site.

Tip for consumers:
Only use a prepaid card with limited funds, to prevent their automatic renewals.
