Oh my God! This is without a doubt the WORST customer service experience that I have ever encountered. I called about a trike kit listed for $1999. 00 (price negotiable). I was connected to sales who spoke so quickly that I coukd not even keep up. The price immediately went from $1999 to $2900 once all the "options were added on". I then told the salesman that was more than I wanted to spend. He then asked my price range. I stated that I saw one listed with a vendor on Ebay for $1400 plus $250 s and h. He then stated that I must be really stupid if I am calling a retail site expecting them to match an auction site. (The price was not auction, but from an Ebay vendor). As for the stupid part, I have been on active duty in the Army for 22 years, am currently a doctoral student and have an MBA and an MA in Logistics Management. In addition, I have a documented IQ of 139 and Mensa member. I was so shocked that I addressed the salesman with profanity, something I rarely do. The salesman then proceeded literally say DA, DA, DA, DA over and over again I hung up. I called back to speak to a supervisor and was placed on terminal hold. Called back again and the person answering the phone asked the name of the salesman. When I stated that I didn't catch it because he spoke so fast, the response was there was nothing that they could do and if I didn't like the experience, shop elsewhere. This seems to be a company wide systemic problem. I could only hope that the CEO of Safer Warehouse reads this site to get honest customer feedback.

I apologize for your communication with our sales staff and can assure you that they do not handle customer service issues. We are a wholesale distribution facility who brokers to get you a product from the Manufacturer's distribution facility and we only can negotiate price on the purchase of multiple units. We supply a lot of local dealerships and that is what the "Make and Offer" portion of our website is catered to. We really cannot negotiate at all on a single purchase and our prices are MAP pricing through the manufacturer. If you were trying to price match we can usually offer you some wiggle room, but the price needs to be from a reputable "Retail" site. We in no way match prices with "EBAY" as they sell used units and people sell units they fabricate themselves out of their basement and sell at low cost. EBAY is all based on the reputation of the Seller not the actual site. I feel that possibly when the salesman realized he did not have any chance of meeting your price range he lost interest in the conversation. Although that may not be acceptable customer service, our salesman really are just order processors. We do have customer service departments to help out with any issues you may have once a sale has been made. I assure you they are here to cater to your needs and treat you right. It seems to me that this was a simple "Kicking the Tires" sales call and you really did not have any intention in making a sale with our company as you price range was worlds away from what we could accommodate. Once the salesman realized this he wanted to move on to the next phone call coming in with a qualified buyer.
