Changing out the $10 monthly reward program to the Golf Pass program is a joke. With the old program, $100 spent earned a $10 reward, but now a $35 round depletes 14,000+ points from your Golf Pass program. If you pay for the $35 round instead of using points, you will only earn 1549 points. Do the math. It gets worse.
Based on the amount of earned points in your Golf Pass program, you do not have an option to use only some of the points for a golf game. Golf Now automatically depletes as many points as it takes to cover the cost of the round! I've got 66,277 Golf Pass Points. When a $35 round costs me 14,000 + points, how long do you think it will take to deplete all of my points? NOT FAIR! Don't see any value in this especially after paying the annual dues. The solution is simply allowing the golfer the option to choose the amount of points he wants to use for each game. The remaining cost of the game that he pays for will then earn points towards the Golf Pass Points Program. I believe if Golf Now continues their business with this current program, not only will the Golf Pass Points deplete quickly, but so will their amount of members!
