Less than 24h after placing my first order, I received this:
"The seller has been permanently suspended from Bonanza due to non delivery of items. Based on the activity on their account, we believe that they are acting in a fraudulent way. Bonanza errs on the cautious side when dealing with such sellers and we have permanently removed them from our site. We would ***Highly*** recommend that you contact PayPal as soon as possible and file a dispute so you can get a refund. If you are still in communication with this seller, we would highly recommend that you still file the claim and do not cancel the claim with PayPal until you have a confirmed refund."
And for Mark D, (who is apparently a Bonanza Rep), I've heard that Bonanza has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and actively monitors and assists all inbound queries that are submitted via the Better Business Bureau. If you can please direct your inquiry via the BBB we will do everything we can to assist.
UPDATE: After filing a dispute with PayPal, the Bonanza seller (not Bonanza themselves) did not respond, and I did finally get a refund. Still a complete waste of time and unneeded frustration.
