Homestead's business practices are despicable. NEVER reserve a domain name through them. I am a developer and wanted to move a domain name to another hosting company. They are making it impossible and wasting hours of my time. Their compliance team refuses to send any real information about the status of my request. Instead, every email from them is exactly the same... an extremely complicated and misleading explanation of their process. I send in the information that it seems like they are requesting and just get the same response back. So I call customer service who regurgitate the same message and then say that they can't control what the compliance department does because they are a different department! I can't talk to anyone in the compliance department and they will not respond to emails with actual information like, I received your documentation... it is satisfactory... or I need this as well. Nothing! They are scam artists.
