I've used groupon previously without any issues, however, I never bought anything important or expensive now. I bought a refurbished samsung galaxy s5 gsm unlocked phone. I haven't had a cell phone in a couple years and wanted to treat myself by trying out one of the new no-contract companies that have been popping up. I really like samsung and have had good luck with refurbished samsung products so when I saw the groupon I bit the bullet and dropped the $299 price (plus like $13 in state taxes). I also used that time since I obviously met their $24.99 free shipping to pick up a glass screen protector and two different phone cases for my new phone. I ordered it on a Friday, and on the following Monday I received an e-mail letting me know it shipped. I was pretty excited. I'm in Vermont, and it was coming from NY, NY so it would definitely be here by the week, saturday at the latest. Boy was I wrong. I checked in on my tracking code on monday and saw UPS was notified of the package. I checked it again Tuesday afternoon. Nothing. Still no updates since that update, still didn't move. Checked at 8am my time on Wednesday. Still nothing. I was starting to get annoyed. Groupon, you sent me an e-mail and it shows as "shipped" on the website, however, it hasn't moved. It's still sitting in your warehouse somewhere. I check Wednesday at noon and it finally moved. However, I'm pretty unhappy, because now its delivery date isn't until the following week so I send in some e-mail customer support e-mails and receive e-mails just telling me "its shipping!" Hooray, I know, after two days from you telling me it shipping, it just actually shipped. So I get on to the chat help, explain the situation and again, the same copy pasted paragraphs. It's shipping, we don't know why it sat there, it's UPS's fault -- no it's not, they didn't have it for those two days, you guys did. Whatever. So now I just want to know why it sat there for two days. What happened, what's wrong with it? No one knows. I get told by the chat rep to call their help line, they would be able to tell me the actual information. So fine, sure, let me sit on hold for 20 minutes and get a girl who apologizes too much and sounds so apathetic I can't believe they have her on the phone. I explain the situation, I talked to a chat rep and was told to call in about my situation to get specifics. Oh, well apparently they have no clue either. So after a ton of back and forth with this girl and her forced apologies, I get transferred to a supervisor, who before I even get to talk she gives me $10.00 in groupon credit. Wow, thanks. I spent $300 and you gave me $10.00 so giving. So I give up and hang up. At that moment in time, the phone is sitting in a warehouse in Connetticut not moving (again), because instead of them sorting it and getting it to continue its process, they have all of that day and the next day for it to sit around again, since they don't need to get it to me for another day or two. So, I'll have the phone cases, and my new sim card sitting around waiting because someone probably forgot my phone in the warehouse for two days. Thanks Groupon.

Tip for consumers:
Great for things you can print out or use on other sites, just don't expect them to send things to you in a timely manner, or have any clue how to help you on the customer service end.
