I've ordered quite a bit of merchandise through Amazon over the years, and it's always been a 5-Star experience.

Easy ordering process, and the merchandise always arrives within a few days.

  • Costco

My wife and I have been loyal Costco shoppers since Costco was once called Price Club.

Their selection of items is noteworthy and the quality is always there. The ONLY items that we don't purchase at Costco is their clothes, only because of sizing issues, but the clothes they sell are of good quality.

It's not necessarily due to lower prices. For me, and I'm sure this sounds anal or petty if you're reading this, but one of the things that absolutely drives me nuts is when a cashier asks me If I found everything OK."

It's one of the most profoundly inappropriate and stupid questions for a retailer to ask a customer, and here's why:

When that question is asked, it literally means, "did you find everything you brought up to the check-out stand OK."

It should be obvious to anyone that has a mentality of at least one point above plant life, that the customer MUST have found the merchandise they've brought to the check-out stand OK!

At Walmart, the check-out experience is always positive and you don't have to play "20-stupid questions" with the cashier!

Nice stores and nice people who work there, but they are WAY, WAY over-priced.

  • Home Depot

I switched from Lowe's to Home Depot. About the ONLY issue I have is that sometimes it's very difficult to find someone to help you, and that's because the staffing is low... I suppose to save money?

Otherwise, great place to shop!

Their prices aren't really all THAT competitive either.

I've switched to shopping at Walmart.

Another thing that irritates me (and many others) about Target is that English is NOT REQUIRED to be spoken on the floor. The amigos who work there are almost always speaking Spanish, and sometimes loudly if there is a distance between the two.

It's RUDE and very UNPROFESSIONAL.

  • Lowe's

My wife and I have shopped there for several years, but we've switched to Home Depot.

Overall, the sales staff has been knowledgeable and helpful, BUT, we're sick and tired of listening to messages in SPANISH over the loudspeaker and we're also beyond tired of being hassled at the check-out by having to endure what seems like a 5-minute dissertation on WHY we NEED to have a MY LOWES card.

We explained over and over again that we're JUST NOT INTERESTED in their card and that we're tired of listening to what they have to say, yet, they continue-on with this never-ending speech as though they're deaf to what the customer is telling them about have no interest whatsoever.

NOBODY likes being HARRASSED at the check-out stand!

  • Trulia

I've been trying for YEARS to get the GROSSLY INACURATE information changed on the home I grew-up in during the 1950s and 1960s, which is the same home my mother resided in until her death in August 1996.

The property is located at: 966 Castle Street, San Leandro (Alameda County) CA *******. And it was a track home built in 1952.

The home is a little over 1,600 square feet. Trulia has it listed as having TWO bedrooms and FIVE FULL BATHROOMS. Track homes back then in OUR neighborhood weren't built with having FIVE bathrooms, and it doesn't even make any logical sense that a "2 bedroom" house would even have 5 bathrooms to begin with, And in a 1,600-ish square foot house, it wouldn't be able to accommodate 5 full bathrooms!

This property has THREE bedrooms, ONE full bathroom, and another bathroom which has only a toilet with a small sink.

I've been trying for a countless number of years to get this information changed, and the only thing I've received is lip service, to wit: "We'll check into this and make the necessary changes if we find that you're providing us with accurate information." That's it!

Trulia is NOT reputable company and cannot be trusted to provide accurate information.
