Don't fall for the exaggerated claim of them being "exculsive partners" with Google. They will take over your phone number and be your new answering service. They did not tell me they would be doing that. Worst part is they barely speak English. What a turn off for clients to hear that. They don't follow instructions at all. I had a website that was functioning just fine. I told them not to build me a new website and to just link to my current site. Days later they were boasting about how they built me a fabulous website and to check it out. Not fabulous, extremely disappointing. Any web developer had the same template. I knew right away that I had been scammed into something I didn't want to be part of. They offered me an introductory rate that I was willing to pay to try them out. When I called to have them cancel my account and terminate any further efforts on their part, I was met with complete arrogance and ignorance to my wishes. I had to repeat my words dozens of times and they wouldn't listen to me and refused to cancel my service. After talking to a third individual and arguing with him, he finally proceeded to cancel my service. Surprise, surprise...Now they were going to bill me a prorated cost for the work they had done, the work I explicitly told them not to do. I can't express in words how frustrated I felt. 411 Locals is the most ingenious group of people I have come across. Arrogant and Inconsiderate! I told them that they were not authorized to charge anything to my card, this being said on a recorded line. I told them any attempt to charge my card would be met with recourse. Low and behold, they charged my card. I will be filing complaints with the FCC for a fraudulent transaction, that had no verbal or written authorization to be transacted. For the rest of the world who is considering using 411 Locals, STAY AWAY! SCAMMERS!
