I dl'ed the free version of this and installed only the word processor and spreadsheet. I've been playing with the wp part most of today and I think it's great. A few commands you have to look for but they're there. I do a newsletter every month for our small community and it has so many options. Inserting text boxes is a cinch and text automatically wraps around it. You can set it upgrade every so often or never upgrade at all, which I like because quite often the changes seem to be made just for the sake of change. It also comes with a few templates, more fonts than anyone would ever need, and what I really like is that you can set the default font in case you're like me and tend to use the same one most of the time. No grammar checker but there is a spell checker that you can access by clicking the icon. It also comes with a manual in PDF format which I won't be printing because it's some 700+ pages, but it's there if you need it. I recently tried both Open Office and Libra? Office and found them way too big and too hard to find what I wanted. In short, it has everything I want and none of the annoying things that I don't want.

This morning I went to Kijiji to see what mobile homes are for sale in my area. There were 17 listings. 3 were for cars, another 3 for tablets and 1 for pets, which turned out to be an aquarium. Also a couple electronic things which I didn't bother to look at. I have also on occasion had a few items to sell, so I would look under Wanted in case someone was looking for what I had. Most of what I found were people Wanting to sell theirs. It appears to me that no one actually owns/runs/monitors Kijiji or they wouldn't have let it become the mess it is. I see no reason to go back.

For the last month or so I've been getting offers from Entirely Pets. Possibly if I lived in the US and had pets, I would be interested. Since I don't, I tried to unsubscribe, which really ticks me off because I never heard of them before, let alone subscribed. Their unsubscribe link doesn't work, comes up as URL invalid. I tried replying to one of their many eMails, with no response except for more ads. And I did mention that I'm in Eastern Canada and wouldn't buy pet supplies from California.

I find it surprising that so many people have problems with GMX. For some reason my regular email client suddenly refused to accept email from a friend I've been talking to for over 20 years. He has had GMX for years and suggested I try that. I've been using it for several months and I have absolutely no problems with it, no Spam, nothing. Attachments come and go fine. I usually just use it for him and my regular email client for everyone else but occasionally use GMX for others and they've never reported a problem either.
