Live Career created a site called My Perfect Resume so they can scam people into a subscription from 2 websites. They will tell you they are charging a minimal fee and then will bill you monthly until you discover it and report them. Terrible scam; they know exactly what they are doing!

My Perfect Resume is a scam. I only spent the 99 cents in the first place because I had gone through all of the resume building steps before they advertised it cost a thing. The site never mentioned they would charge me monthly. It was 2 months before I caught it on my credit card. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and will fight to be refunded everything, but this company should be shut down before this happens to more people.

Hello Anna R, I’m very sorry that you have had this experience with our service. We explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.
