I have been a HUGE fan of ADIDAS shoes and clothing for years. My boyfriend is an even bigger fan so I thought a gift card would be perfect! He wears a size 14 shoe so it is hard to shop in the store. In June he ordered two pairs of shoes using the gift card and his credit card. Worst online purchasing experience EVER. The shoes arrived quickly, unfortunately it was a completely different order. Wrong shoes wrong size. We sent them back right away and I called customer service to see if I could just do an exchange for the correct order. Nope, they only do returns but said they would mark the account so we could re-order without having to pay extra. After about three week we hadn't heard anything and the charges hadn't been refunded. When we called to see what was going on they had a hard time finding the return, and there were no notes. They then informed us that it may take another billing cycle (an additional 30 days) to receive the refund. It took about two weeks for the card to be refunded and about three to get a new gift card in the mail. I was so disappointed and truly wish I hadn't purchased the gift card, we will have to search for an Adidas store to use it in.
