I specifically asked if I was speaking to the hotel's reservation site. They lied and said yes. They proceeded to answer my questions as if they were the hotel, then made the reservation. They did not tell me they were charging my card right then. They did not tell me I could not cancel or change. They said they would "email me." I never received the email telling me specifics. I received a text with an conf number. I wouldn't have known I was dealing with a third party site until I needed to change the reservation (the movers changed the date). I called their "support" number and again they acted like the hotel telling me it was the individual hotel's fault I could not change or cancel. Again, they never mentioned it was prepaid or not able to be cancelled. It was only when I called the hotel directly that I found out who actually made the reservation (hotel planner). I called hotel planner back and they gave me the run around about how no supervisors were available, no one could refund my money except them, etc. They would email me (which again, I never received and had confirmed my email with them twice and checked the spam folder). I have yet to hear from them and they have my money. DO NOT USE. They were purposefully fraudulent in order to get me to use them, did not send any information on their policies, and will not help me now that I have had a problem.

Interestingly enough, the only email I did receive was to rate the hotel. So I know they had my email correct and that I can receive emails from them. This leads me to believe it is another way they scam you. "We sent the info via email" "We will get back to you via email" "Something is wrong with your email " Yet, obviously they have it as I received the email to rate the hotel.

  • Groupon

My experience with Groupon has been positive. Things were delivered as described and I have not been disappointed at all

  • Amazon Prime

I was skeptical to try Prime but it has been the best. Items I usually have to go to the store and buy taking time and using gas can be delivered to my door, usually less than the price I would have paid. I really enjoy the free movies and music as well. I will definitely keep my prime membership.

  • Netgear

10/21/15

I bought a new router from Netgear. I had trouble with it blocking me from getting online. It was connected but would not allow me online either thru wireless or Ethernet. I called as I was within the three month help for free time period. Each time I had to go in and change multiple settings. Every employee I spoke with (some very hard to understand as they obviously outsource this portion to another country and use ore fabricated responses which are not helpful) assured me it was fixed. It still is not fixed. The last time I called, rather than saying they will check back in on the problem, etc the service person tried to sell me an expensive contact to extend the service time. Why would I want to spend my money on something like that when I had a free month left? So that left me feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me. So to sum up, product doesn't work like it should ( cable internet has been checked and is fine. 0, customer service difficult to understand and harder to get a straight answer due to "pre fabricated answers", and tried to take advantage of me and sell extended warranty a month prior to my free one expiring ( if this wasn't good in a month, shouldn't they replace it?). I will not be spending my money on Netgear again. I will purchase a new router and hopefully get my issue solved.

  • 1-800 Flowers

I had a very difficult time trying to get them to fix the mess they made of getting flowers to my Aunt's funeral. I ordered online without a problem, assured they would be delivered. Then received a call from the flower shop saying they were too far away to get the flowers to the funeral. Then they said they didn't have what we picked out (which was ok, we were willing to substitute). But they could not guarantee by funeral date. So why take the order? I called customer service who hem hawed around and said they would deliver the next day. I received an email saying they were delivered and then one saying they were not. I didn't want to bother my Aunt's family over this so I called again. Again they seemed to have no idea of what was going on. I calmly explained the situation. No flowers delivered to Aunt's funeral is looking bad and I felt horrible. They could not tell me if they were delivered and if so, where. I said we need to find them as fu real flowers are time sensitive. The woman offered to call my Aunt to see if she received them. Then I knew they were not listening because if they had, they would know this was impossible as my Aunt had passed away, hence the need for the flowers. By this time I just asked for a refund. $75 is a lot to spend to have it botched up so badly that no one could deliver, then they didn't know where they were, then they said they were delivered but weren't only to follow THAT with proof they heard none of my concern because they offered to call the deceased (challenging at the least). They refunded no money and only offered me $20 towards a future purchase (why would I want to purchase w them again?). I would use another service. These people do not care or respect their customers or they would have handled differently.

Avoid this company. They will put you on an automatic renewal when their original product does not work (they will not answer you on that one either). I am getting charged by them when I didn't authorize a yearly charge, nor did the original product work. AVOID AVOID AVOID
