I purchased composition notebooks from ToolBox Supply through Overstock.com. The description said "100-count," it it was over $10, so I assumed I was getting a good deal on 100 notebooks. I ordered two, as I am a teacher and wanted 200 notebooks. I received 2... for $21. When I called the company, before I even was able to tell my side of the story, I was yelled at, constantly interrupted, and repeatedly told I was wrong, not them. They couldn't possibly be wrong because no one else had ever understood "100-count" to mean 100 of the item. I asked to speak to a manager, and they would not let me (because they were working remotely). So, I set up a return through Overstock, but I had to pay (almost $9) to return the two notebooks, and then they also took out the $6.50 for the shipping that they sent me. So, I ended up spending $15 for two notebooks I don't even have anymore. When I asked them (through email) why they didn't refund all of my amount, they said they had processed my refund correctly and if I have questions, I should contact Overstock. However, Overstock has nothing to do with this, as it is all through the third party of ToolBox Supply. I literally have emailed them four times to try to speak to a manager, and they continually refuse to let me. Do NOT ever order from them. Their philosophy is definitely not "We are committed to our customers by providing exceptional customer care," as it says about the company on Overstock.com. I literally cannot think of another time I've received worse customer service.
