Ok.
There are PLENTY of free sites and applications in the market that stream music.
This is NOT one of my top 5.
The good:
- free music streaming
- free radio streaming
- music selection (playlist) can be based or genre, artist or song
- you can save different pre-made or self-made playlists
- user friendly interface
- good quality sound files
- no setup fee / credit card details / overly personal information required for sign up
- can "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" a song while its playing, to further personalize the list and weed out songs you don't like
The Annoying
- ADS ADS BLOODY ADS (yes, they help keep the songs free, but you seem to get an add every 5 song or 3rd skip!) AS ANNOYING AS YOUTUBE IS NOW! RAHHH! GIVE ME MUSIC!
- further to above, listening to pandora in the car, belting out you favorite songs, then you leave your "happy place" when the ads come on (you'll get what I mean if you like to crank your music up in the car - eg: radio has a good song, and your singing away, then an ad comes on *crickets*)
- you can thumbs down songs (and you won't hear them again), and this is also suppose to put like a little thing on your playlist like "don't play songs similar to this) but doesn't seem to be able to fine tune the list enough to get 3 good songs in a row (eg: I love RNB, but I hate 50 Cent and no matter how many of his songs I thumbs down, another one of his songs always pops up on the playlist
- you cannot create an artist only playlist! Yes, you can create a playlist based on an artist, but it will always play music "like" the artist you select. (Eg, you want to creat a Drake playlist, you'll get a whole heap of Lil Wayne and Birdman on the playlist)
- SKIP LIMIT! You can only skip several songs a day! Highly annoying! If it could get the music right, I wouldn't have to skip, but it seems to play a good song followed by several crap songs, and by the time you skip the bad songs and sit through a couple of ads, your out of skips for the day! This is the point where I really get over Pandora.
Verdict:
Meh - I've had better
