The app works fine but they do not vet ANYONE and their is no trace back to the actual user. I experienced fraudulent checks being sent and when WhatsApp was notified they did absolutely nothing

Whatsapp Windows 11 is aesthetically awful, and functionally a step back from its desktop version. The layout micmics the functionality of the desktop version on a website platform but the desktop version came across as more professional, integrating with the OS better. The major functional 'step back' is that the desktop icon would alert the user when chats were submitted to my groups, but the whatsapp icon, really a windows shortcut, does not do that. Date of the experience is everyday now.
This is pushing me to look at alternatives, when I was very happy with the original app.

WhatsApp itself is very user-friendly and easy to use, but their support is greatly lacking. I tried contacting them about setting up a new account, and they/something just continued to respond with pre-generated messages. We went in circles and never reached a solution. Can't believe a company like WhatsApp would have no readily available human support.

I began this week using the 011 Call Global service that diverts calls to my international number to my US number. It has worked great for every direction except with WhatsApp. To switch WhatsApp to my new phone, Whatsapp needs to send an SMS to the old phone number or call me. I don't get an SMS and they call but the call immediately hangs up when I answer. When I tell Support they refuse to call me directly and I cant get a human being. Wanna talk to a robot? Why is there no humans to interact with at whatsapp customer service, i created a community for opel members and now the group together with my personal and work whatsapp groups is blocked permanently, the content of my messages had no links and is harmless questions i had to send new members to join, and now because of a wrong decision, everything is spoiled, how can i do a review like the bot said that reply to emails, if my account is blocked so i tried from another whatsapp number to do a review, there are a lot of real criminal scammers that needs to get blocked, not the innocent members

For 6 months I used what's app to communicate with my boyfriend overseas and it was fine Then in the last week the app has made it impossible to communicate. He has had to get a new account 3 times. Now we have picked another platform. So discouraging. My review is based on my latest experience.

It's a very nice app that I recommend everyone to use You must have it because it allows people to message each other quickly

I use this app on a daily basis and haven't run into any issues. I work night shifts, though, and sometimes can't text people right away as it's too early in the morning, so a 'timed message' feature would be very helpful. Similar to a scheduled mail just setting the time and date for a text to be sent so I don't have to worry about forgetting/texting too earlyInstead of improving and adding useful functions it takes them away. Now you can't press on the name or number of a person in a group and message them directly... it now shows you their picture, so you have to look them up in the long list of group members if you want to contact that person in private. Then, how come they didn't yet add the function of scheduling messages?!? It's so useful for busy people and for those times when you remember too early or too late in the day to message someone.I would not recommend WhatsApp to be used for businesses. However it is very helpful for individual usage. It delivers quick, timely, functional, and consistent communication between any two individuals over half decent Wi-Fi. It has its kinks to it, like kicking you off once you start running low on storage, or automatically downloading the photos of friends when you forgot to unselect that option. Whenever I receive or make a call, 1st thing that appears, is reconnecting and then breakdown starts. It happens time and again during every call. That makes me hard to have a conversation with anyone. I would like to request to resolve this issue. I'm unable to have a conversation with anyone while the issue is there. Thank you.

Whatsapp business banned my number without any warning. After emailing them 30 times over 8 days they reverted 3 times and everytime said on email i have not broken any of their terms and conditions and they have unblocked but still i dont have whatsapp working. Such a pathetic company since it being bought over. No standards. No rules followed. They ban without thinking what consequences can happen. Whatsapp should get a competitor and suffer what Black berry and skype suffered when whatsapp took over.

A friend set up a WhatsApp group for collaboration purposes, and I downloaded the app onto my computer. When I opened the app, it presented the worthless instructions shown in the screenshot below. It says "Open WhatsApp on your phone" which is impossible on a landline and also a flip cell phone, both of which I have. How anybody could design a laptop or desktop app that somehow requires a phone to operate (other than, for example, two-factor authentication in which a voice message or text message is sent with a code) is beyond me but the bottom line is that this app is completely worthless to many users for the reason shown here. If you want to make sure everybody can participate, select a different collaboration app.

Literally the worst support you can imagine.

Support in app is just a bot that needs everything in English and then it doesn't understand anything you write. A small kid would give you better answers. Then it asks if you were satisfied with the laughable copy-paste message. This doesn't lead to anything being solved if you were wondering.

The support via mail is laughable too. Web is in my language, I write in my language and get an email that some bot couldn't translate it because it wants it in English. What. The. Fek.

Expect reply in 3 days. More like 3 weeks.

This platform is a scammers paradise because of this shait support.
I reported a scammer a month ago and they are still online every day from dusk to dawn happily scamming people.

Everywhere else you get banned IMMEDIATELY because of some minor cough, a little upsie someone else next block over committed. Here literal scam corporations are running rampant scamming hundreds of people daily For MONTHS.

I gave up reporting anything.

All because of shait support.
Don't trust ANYONE.
