They sent me a faulty 2.2 android device and have not heard from them since. They are clearly breaking the law as they do not have an address on their website and they are infringing on peoples rights as we have to wait for them to reply to us with some sort of a OK message to say it is ok to send the item back BUT they never do reply to any messages when you are asking for a refund. I have contacted trading standards, watchdog and paypal however they still seem to be up and running......THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED
My mum ordered 3 10.2 android tablets on the 22nd September to be delivered to my house for my childrens christmas presents.
After about 2 weeks and me sending dozens of emails theandroidshop.tv said they needed more information because it was a high value order and the delivery and billing address were different. This information was sent my registered delivery to postcode BH6 5DU 10 Burleigh road Bournemouth and was signed for by what looks like C. Harris.
I have over the last week sent more emails asking when the goods are going to be sent and have no reply.
On Friday nothing had been taken from my mums card but after reading all these reviews I am extremely worried that they are a fraudulent company.
I hope the address details are helpful to others and if you should manage to get a contact number please post it on here.
I shall be getting onto trading standards first thing and my even send a little email to watchdog.
Don't use them - they are crooks. Buy a product online, give them your money - and to be fair you will get the product - but then that's it. If there's something wrong with it, they don't exist. You can't get hold of them by letter, e-mail, telephone or posting a comment on their website - they disappear!
DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
I also bought a faulty product and cannot get hold of anyone. My e-mails just disappear. The website says they have been moving premises over the last week. I'll bet they have and never to be heard of again under the name the android shop. I wish I knew how to stop them from trading under this or any other name.
They said send the item back and we will give you a refund.I sent it back a month ago recorded delivery. They received it and now they are ignoring my emails. They have no company address or phone number, all I can go by a residential address which was on the goods when they posted it.
This is probably a scam site.
They are absolutely a scam site. I ordered an Android Tablet and returned it because it had been used before, and like you, they are ignoring e-mails, letters, notices on their site etc. I returned the tablet recorded delivery, and it came back to me as 'not known at this address'!
DO NOT USE THEM - THEY ARE CROOKS
They fail to deliver their goods at all as i brought an android tablet of them for £79.99 with £5.99 delivery fee for a next day dispatch and since then six days have passed and the goods haven't even been shipped. The whole website is just a scam to take your money with nothing in exchange and I highly recommend you do not buy anything from here.

I bought 2 Andriods from them, and they only sent me 1. and it was faulty. i was asked to return the item by James, i did as i was told. and i hear nothing from him. it has been more than 2 weeks. This is certainly a scam. pls do not buy anything from them. i have lost £165++ ..
I have to comment back and say I could not be more wrong about this company. The delivery was delayed as their stock was being held in customs, and am more than satisfied with their product. I have received a massive apology from them, including a free case being delivered. PLEASE DO NOT REFRAIN FROM BUYING FROM HERE!
Hi Sam M. I'm interested in their address if you have it? I did have one as St. Johns Street, but when I've written to them asking for my money, the letter came back as 'No longer at this address'. They are a scam I'm afraid - you must have been one of only a few lucky ones

I pre ordered and paid for the new 2.3 Android tablet on the 14th October with the delivery date being the 5th December. A week after the 5th still no sign so we began contacting via emails with not one reply and needless to say here we are on Christmas day without the Android Tablet (try explaining that to a 7 year old) I have reported these crooks to various watchdogs and to the fraud dept of my bank. You may pay a bit more but go to Currys or Comet instead and save the hastle!!

What an absolute scam site, if you're in the mood to give away hundreds of pounds this is the site off you! They take your money and run, there is very little communication from them and what there is is full of lies and false hope that you may actually receive the goods, highly unlikely! I have been waiting nearly 2 months for 2 pads and have not received them then there was the big promise that things would be sorted by a certain date and they were just having a few issues, still nothing, no response to any emails and no number to call or accurate address, I did ask a few times for my money back which was again totally ignored. On a who I would strongly advise people to steer clear, buy these items from a well known auction site it's cheaper and your covered!
The tablet was of poor quality so I emailed them immediatly to return it under the distance selling regulations. Multiple emails later they finally give a returns number and an address. After paying £9 postage to return the item to them it arrives back with me from the post office saying that nobody collected the parcel. Still waiting for a refund - avoid!

Have a 7 inch tablet that has stopped working after 2 months, chased the company on numerous occasions no answer. Have contacted watchdog too.
First of all i brought i pc tablet received it great service so happy, then my mum ordered 6 paid for them online and received nothing , no pc tablets, money was taken, no money returned, no emails answered, no telephone numbers,no details and a load of crap..FRAUD...STAY AWAY!!!!!WE LOST £500 GONE DOWN THE DRAIN...
No problems here. Ordered from them for my Daughters birthday as let down by another site. Next day delivery as promised and very happy
I sense this is one particular person spreading this which is a very unfair in my opinion. I have ordered on two occasions from this company and both times they have delivered next day and I have been more than happy!!
I've just purchased an Android 2.2 tablet from these guys and I have to say that James was brilliant at communicating information on my order, UPS confused things a little by delivering to my home address when I'd asked for it to come to work, but James sorted it out no problem. The item is good, been playing Angry Birds and using Facebook / You Tube on it, thumbs up, would buy again and next time I'll try not to confuse UPS and deliver to my home! LOL

It is theandroidshop.tv in London, UK yes. If you are lucky enough to get an order that is in working order and does what you want, then you will be happy - but for those of us who got a second hand device that doesn't do what is expected - then watch out - you haven't a hope in hell of getting your money back.
I ordered a tablet last week which arrived 2days later and seems fine although It hasn't been used properly it's a Xmas present, I then ordered 2 more on Monday morning and so far no sign of them and site still showing they haven't even been shipped, I emailed yesterday, no reply so have opened a ticket just now and will see how I get on :( hopefully will be sorted or will have disappointed kids :(

Because I couldn't get hold of them, I posted comments on everyone of their e-mail addresses on their website. The comment was rather, shall I say, strong..... and was less than complimentary and also informed them that I would be taking legal advice - and would you believe it?? I got a reply within the hour. That was after trying to get hold of them for three weeks. Be strong and forceful and they will respond.

From what I can gather, they seem to be a 'one man band', or at least that is the impression I got when I spoke to the main man James. The only reason, I think, that I eventually got a reply, was because I threatened legal action.
I have threatened legal action and told him I have reported him to trading standards and watchdog to no avail :0(
i have also thretend legal action and to send the police to the address in bournemoth which is a house by the way and the phone is ex directory i am fuming

Please, please, please, if you have any doubts about this company report it to consumer direct. Trading standards cannot investigate if they do not receive a significant number of complaints. I have just sent my final letter to them before I proceed with legal action. This company is fraudulent and needs to be put out of business.
We would like to apologise to all customers who are having problems, we can assure every customer that EVERY QUERY and EVERY ORDER will be fufilled. We have some supplier problems which have been dealt with and we now have new stock arriving on the 7th November. We appreciate that lack of communcation leads to concern but we can assure everyone that any outstanding queries and orders will be dealt with week commencing 7th November 2011.
We are not crooks and we are not here to do anything other than sell products. We are working very very hard to deal with the problems and we will. We are a small company with four employees but that does not mean we are trying to rip people off, we are putting steps in place to make sure his never happens again and once again we would like to apologise.
Once again to be clear, every single order and query, return etc... will be dealt with.

lovely thank you :) am in the proccess of sending a letter to them and would advice everyone else to as well as the trading standards will take legal action if they dont reply to your letter in the amount of time you give them! give them a call the number is 01438518809 its free! everyone give it a go and maybe we can all get our money back and have this company shut down before anyone else has to go through the same thing :)

My mum has had her money refunded from the credit card company this week and they are going to pursue it from here.
Sent a letter recorded delivery at the end of Oct which they have finally collected but failed to respond too.
Hope they get shut down, the thieving b******s.
Lucy I sent it the address thats in the information box at the top of this review. Thats where they asked my mum to return the copy of her card too. Both times have been recorded delivery and both times they have been received.

Yeah I'm gonna have to do the same, is sad really I was giving the benefit of the doubt and seems I was being a fool, what even sadder is that I saved for months to buy them and can't afford to replace them unless the bank is able to get my money back, so because of them my children may actually not have a decent present this year :( fingers crossed for the bankers!!

i done the same googles the house and tried directory enquiries i feel like screaming and even travelling down there i have to now buy another 3 which i crnt do before xmas so my children now have no present
No this isnt one particular person at all. i brought a 2 tablets for my children for christmas, one didnt work at all and the other one keeps freezing and i have emailed them several times and no one replys. Total rip off company, you have been warned...stay well away from them!!! karen
This shower of thieves have now stopped trading and dumped the reponsability on their supplier in, would you believe it CHINA. Fat chance of a result here. Looks like they have gone bust. I just hope they went down with the ship.

Edward S. I also purchased an Android tablet from them. I had to return it for refund. I contacted them for an RMA form and number which James sent me declaring NO PROBLEMS. I returned the Android recorded delivery which was signed for at Tronix [GB] Ltd but from that day I have not received any answers to my numerous emails.I telephoned the number registered with Paypal but got a message saying the number was not recognised. The email address also registered with Paypal is claireharris@me com. [has anyone tried this yet?] As a pensioner I cannot afford to lose £20.98. I contacted Paypal and told them about these people but it seems they don't care who use their service to get your money.
